A lot can happen when one chooses
to BELIEVE. In a time when Hip-Hop seems to be used as a means for
conveying a less than positive message, I am proud to be able to
offer the world entertainment on a level that will have your feet
tapping, your heart happy and your spirit joyful.
My view of Hip-Hop is what one would call consciously
spiritual. My message has an inward focus and is designed to bring
a sense of empowerment and promote positive outcomes, while cultivating
the God given sense of creativity. In other words, I want to get
into your soul and your being or at least make you think and ask
questions. Change occurs through choice and letting go of the old
to create space for the new.
I am a meta-lyricist and I call my genre of music “new thought
funk”. I create music that is good for the soul, with a message
that’s easy to get into and a beat that keeps you moving.
All the criticism and speculations about hip-hop being such a negative
medium for emotion, images and messages in the black community disturbed
me. I decided it was time for my voice to be heard in way that would
be enjoyable and memorable to the general public.
We all live by one POWER; one LAW. We all manifest and return to
the same Source. The only difference is what, when, and how you
choose to experience this journey. We are not solitary souls adrift
in a world of chaos, though we may feel that at times. We are dynamic,
creative, expressive individuals constantly contributing to the
components of life….and thus we create our world. I wanted
my music to convey that.
Every once in a while someone or something comes
along that makes us sit up and pay attention. Something that touches
us at a level much deeper than routine…something that whispers
to the soul because it holds value.
Listen to the message it is clear love is how I
choose to spend my time here.
